You are a New Zealander and now have some extra time on your hands and you are eager to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate with your prayers, energy and money. The major problem is that you do not know who to support.
A ‘must read’ for all who desire to help is Changing Lives. This is Pete Cossey’s second book of true and inspirational stories from eleven mission agencies who operate in every corner of the globe.
The book not only gives faith enriching stories from those in the mission field but also outlines the purpose of each mission - e.g. preach the Gospel and improve lives; the geographic focus of the mission e.g. Africa, Asia or South America; ministry and projects e.g. orphans, medical, discipleship and school support as well as contact details for each agency.
This book is an excellent resource for those who are would be missioners and a base for intercessory prayer.
