May 28 Meeting:
Omegas Information Day
Saturday May 28 (9 am - 4 pm) Program below...
St Francis College, Milton, Brisbane.
- We've seen too many authors lately come for advice after spending thousands (even tens of thousands) of dollars in an attempt to get their book published. Others may not spend suitcases of money but they never see any royalties. Still others are frustrated by piles of rejections and don't know how to improve their manuscript to maximise its chances of publication. The more you know, the less likely you are to make a mistake with a contract or submission.
- There are also many exciting new opportunities opening up later this year regarding international marketing that, if you are considering self-publishing, you should be aware.
- We've lined up a great list of speakers to give you a thorough grounding in what the publication trade is all about, so you know the questions to ask so you don't sign yourself up for something you'll regret.
- You will even be able to make appointments to see some of them on the day. But be quick!
