Once again Christians who live in the South Land of the Holy Spirit are indebted to Col Stringer. His latest book - Smith Wigglesworth in Australia and New Zealand - is a researched collection of anecdotes, stories, newspaper articles, eye witness reports and treasured family memories of the two visits of the ‘Apostle of Faith’ to Australia and New Zealand in the 1920s. This research and collected memorabilia is both timely and long overdue.
The impact that Wigglesworth’s visits had on Pentecostalism in Australia and New Zealand cannot be over estimated. Photographs of crowds, newspaper reports, flyers and personal pictures are scattered throughout the book. A short DVD of Col Stringer introducing and then old film footage of Wigglesworth himself is included. Although Wigglesworth is revered throughout the Pentecostal world, very little attention is given to his profound prophecy that end time revival would begin in the South Land of the Holy Spirit.
For Christians who are interested in faith healing this inspirational, faith enhancing and easy to read book is a must read. Thank you once again, Col for preserving and making known our Australian Christian heritage.

In his book Winning Impossible Wars Col Stringer outlines strategies needed to win our own ‘Impossible War’ whether it is against cancer, illness, bankruptcy, divorce or any other demon. Success or defeat depends on the extent that discipline, determination, daring and dedication are present or lacking in our life.
He likens success to the outstanding achievements of the smallest army in the world — the Israeli Armed Forces who consistently win against seemingly impossible odds. These men love their homeland and they are determined to win the war and protect their land at any cost.
When we allow the Word of God to speak to the deepest recesses of our being, we are able to engage in winning impossible wars against overwhelming and impossible odds.

No matter that you have unlimited potential, no matter how high your IQ, if your spirit has been programmed to believe that you are dumb and stupid you will never rise above that inner vision of yourself. Because that’s who you really believe you are.
Read Col Stringer’s From a Grasshopper to a Giant Killer and be transformed by the Word of God and the renewing of your mind. It is important to remember that the Word works but when there is no Word inside there is nothing to draw from. It is impossible to make a withdrawal if we have never made a deposit - ask at any bank.
My only reservation about this excellent book is that in my view the author fails to adequately distinguish between visualisation of our own making which so often stems from unhealed areas of our heart and a vision that the Lord Himself wants for us, and gives for our own enrichment and healing.

Col Stringer does it again! He challenges us to become what both Fernandez de Quiros and Smith Wigglesworth prophetically spoke and declared over our land.
Stringer challenges Australians to embrace both our destiny and our Christian heritage. There is much in our past history that we, as Christians and Australians can be proud of but we need to recognise and be familiar with our true Christian heritage and embrace and live it and make it our own. Australia - South Land of the Holy Spirit reveals many hidden truths and Col Stringer once again challenges us to become what we already are - The Great South Land of the Holy Spirit. Make it your Australia Day weekend reading. You will be so glad you did!

HONOUR - A KEY TO THE POWER OF GOD

If ever a book was needed in the church, HONOUR - A Key to the Power of God is it. This seems to be a subject that gets scant attention in our sermons and yet HONOUR runs through the very fabric of the Bible and throughout scripture there are many stories of honour and of honourable men. Every area of life is affected by honour or afflicted by dishonour and many people, both old as well as young are unaware of this.
Where there is a lack of honour there is no power. Honour is one of the major keys to the power of God and for the sake of our church, our family and our nation we must learn to honour what God honours. HONOUR is a powerful book. Read it and accept the challenge.

BILLY
In Billy Col Stringer does what he does best. He tells a good story. Billy is fiction based on fact and blends together the exploits and skills of the buffalo hunters of Arnhem Land who become volunteers in the Australian Light Horse with the skills needed to survive a senseless war being fought half a world away. Billy is the likeable part aborigine who went on to become a WW1 legend but who was already renowned throughout the Territory as a brilliant rider and a crack shot. His uncanny ability saved many Aussie lives in the thickest of the fighting at Gallipoli, Beersheba and Jerusalem where he was known as the best shot in the army. The bond that existed between the rider and his horse was legendary - the soldier’s very life depended on knowing and being able to trust his horse and this along with mateship was paramount to survival.
Once again Col Stringer causes the reader to be proud to be Australian. Thank you, Col. Billy is an excellent book to read over the Anzac Day weekend.
