Women Rising is a book designed to motivate and inspire Christian women aged from 18 to 80 years to become the very best that God intended them to be. Each chapter ends with a Reflection and also an Action plan.
It is a book that calls women to step out and step up. Women are in no way being exhorted to prove themselves as good as men or to compete for superiority - rather, to grow into the person God meant them to be. The book is soundly based in Scripture as the revealed Word of God.
I was won over on Page 3 with the words: This book is about women rising, but it’s not about a feminist uprising. My vision and my message is the promotion of partnership: men and women working side by side in marriages, ministry and the marketplace.
Women Rising has a good vision and a good message. DS
